Melissa Gayheart

Melissa grew up in Pippa Passes, Kentucky. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, with a double major in Finance and Accounting. She then earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and was admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 1995. She now lives in the Lexington area with her husband, Brett Cavins, and their two children. Melissa's practice is focused on corporate law, tax, probate administration, elder law, and estate planning. Her tax practice includes income and estate tax planning, compliance, and audit representation. She represents numerous small businesses and individuals.
