Michael A. Rowady II

M. Alex Rowady is a native of Winchester. After receiving his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his law degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee he practiced law with two firms in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. However, the lure of his native Bluegrass State drew him home where he has resided and practiced law since 1991. Upon his return, Alex worked in the office of his father Michael A. Rowady, an iconic figure in Winchester, until 2000, and it was during this time he became a household name in the Winchester area as a capable attorney in the general practice of law. When his father neared retirement, Alex met his current partner Kimberly Carter Blair and they have operated their law practice known as Blair & Rowady, P.S.C. for nearly 15 years. Today, Alex focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, criminal law, civil trials and appeals, and personal injury. His practice serves every county in the Lexington, Kentucky metropolitan area and most counties in east central Kentucky. Beyond practicing law, Alex serves on the board of directors for several civic organizations committed to enhancing the quality of life in Winchester and Clark County. He and his wife Rita have two sons, Jackson and Davis. Alex takes a great pride in bringing the best possible results to his clients m a comfortable, small-firm setting.
