Michael E. Liska

Mike is the chief civil litigation attorney at The Nye Law Group, P.C. He has over 23 years of personal injury litigation experience and is AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martingale Hubbell. Mike began his legal career as an insurance defense litigation attorney. Eventually he felt compelled to assist the injured instead of the big insurance companies and became a plaintiffs' attorney. Before joining The Nye Law Group, P.C., Mike was a litigation attorney with Gary C. Johnson, PSC. Mike recently obtained a 1.68 million dollar jury verdict from a medical negligence case. Mike has a solid track record for obtaining the compensation that his clients need and deserve. Mike's primary area of practice includes: wrongful death, motor vehicle/trucking accidents, nursing home negligence, medical negligence, premises liability, and several MDL (multi district litigation) cases including DePuy, TVM, HRT, and Vioxx. Mike is a member of the American Bar Association's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, Plaintiff's Policy Task Force Leadership Member, Healthcare Law Section, Litigation Section and American Association for Justice. Mike is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Kentucky. Mike resides in the Hilton Head area with his wife, Missy, and five children.
