Scott A. Bachert

A partner at Kerrick Bachert, PSC, Bachert, Scott A. is a skilled and highly experienced business and corporate litigation attorney. He handles a wide range of matters involving debtor-creditor rights, banking and finance law, business contracts and consulting, business formation and reorganization, and business trademarks. A 1979 magna cum laude graduate of Western Kentucky University, Mr. Bachert received his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in Lexington, Kentucky, with high distinction in 1982. The same year, he obtained his license to practice law in Kentucky and later in Tennessee, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. Mr. Bachert has held several prestigious positions in legal organizations including as the chair of the Kentucky Bar Association – Commercial Code Committee and the panel bankruptcy trustee of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Kentucky. He is also part of the American Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Bachert is honored in several ways for his professionalism, services and accomplishments.
