I enjoy working with them to ease the stress associated with financial burdens and help them get a fresh start. Areas of assistance include Chapters 7 and 13 Bankruptcy filings; defense of foreclosure actions; defense of lawsuits by creditors and debt-buyers; protection from garnishments; and negotiations with creditors. In my Bankruptcy practice my representation does not end with your discharge. I have noticed over the years that creditors do not always correctly report-discharged debts. This hinders the "fresh start" that the Bankruptcy Code offers Debtors. Accordingly, I have begun a new program that assists clients in uncovering these problems and taking steps to resolve them, including litigation if necessary. All initial consultations are free and you will meet with Steve – not a legal assistant.
