About Brittany L. Schroder Michael
Brittany L. Schroder Michael is an associate attorney with a diverse professional background and a strong commitment to community service. Growing up in Covington, Brittany gained early experience in her family’s entrepreneurial endeavors, including residential construction and development, real estate, and retail. She went on to graduate from the Louisiana School of Math, Science and the Arts in Natchitoches and later interned at the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce. In 2008, she earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Louisiana State University while working full time—first as a student worker at the Governor’s Office of Rural Development and a restaurant hostess, then as a retail manager. She returned to LSU earning a Juris Doctorate and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law in 2013, graduating with Pro Bono Honors for service exceeding 50 hours. During law school, she worked as a student law clerk for the Louisiana Public Service Commission, obtained qualifications to be a domestic mediator, and was elected to various student board positions. Before entering private practice, Brittany worked as a litigation consultant and insurance adjuster managing complex, litigated, and high-exposure claims for third party administrators — primarily on behalf of the State of Louisiana. She was licensed as an adjuster in 32 states, received 2 national company awards, and was appointed to the Process Improvement Team to represent colleagues’ concerns to upper management. Brittany remains active in the Northshore community, currently serving on the board of the Zeta Tau Alpha Northshore Alumnae chapter and is a member of the Krewe of Eve and the William Pitcher Junior High PTO. She is a former foster parent and has served on the boards of Pine View Middle School PTA, Junior League of Greater Covington, and James Samaritan. Brittany’s unique background supports her legal work in matters involving public entities, construction law, real estate, and conflict resolution. She brings a strategic, practical, and solutions-focused approach to helping clients resolve disputes and protect their interests.
