Daniel A. Meyer

When Daniel A. Meyer takes on a case, he brings to it a formidable combination of empathy and rigor. Daniel joined Bruno and Bruno as an associate attorney in 2011. In his practice, he focuses on representing people, property, and businesses that have been damaged through the fault of another. He founded and chairs Bruno and Bruno’s summer internship program, now in its fifth year, along with the firm’s pro bono group. Under his direction, the pro bono team recently secured the freedom of a wrongly imprisoned defendant, and they devote their time to clients who are most in need of the resources of a distinguished, proven legal team. Daniel was named to the Louisiana Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list in 2017 and 2018, and is known among his peers for his ability to simplify and distill large amounts of law and information to the central components that win cases. Before joining Bruno and Bruno, Daniel served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Laurie A. White, Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, where he managed over fifty jury trials. His experience working in both the public and private spheres of the legal system has given him unique insight into the decision-making processes of judges and juries. As the father of a young daughter, he also takes pride in his ability to usher clients through difficult cases of serious injury to a loved one with heightened sensitivity and compassion. Daniel is a longtime leader in the New Orleans community. He sits on the governing board of the Anti-Defamation League and is the President of the Board of Directors for WRBH Reading Radio 88.3 FM, a station that brings print media to the blind and print handicapped. He is a graduate of Tulane University Law School, and is licensed to practice in all state courts in Louisiana and Mississippi, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the Southern District of Mississippi.
