About Sammie Henry
Sammie Henry was born in Columbus, Mississippi in 1965. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Jackson State University in 1987, with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. In 1990, Sammie received his Juris Doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law. After law school, he served as a law clerk with Mississippi Supreme Court with Honorable Justice Lenore Prather and Honorable Justice Michael Sullivan. Sammie was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association in 1994. Since his admission, Sammie has worked primarily in the area of workers compensation defense. He has handled cases throughout the state and is well respected by both judges and attorneys of the plaintiff bar.
