Todd Edward Gaudin

Todd leads the group at Gaudin Law Group, Inc. (GLG), a boutique firm focusing on family and property-related projects. Over these years, he’s taught more than a dozen classes for attorneys and the public in the areas of adoptions, legal custody of children and adults, testaments, and estate succession and administration. He has adopted a son and helped others adopt in at least 33 Louisiana parishes and in 15 other US states. To keep up with changes and to influence change in adoption laws, he had attended Law Institute’s Children’s Code Committee meetings and was accepted into the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys. He also has guided many succession/probate-related CLE classes hosted by NBI, and local bar associations. Todd believes we attorneys should speak to clients in terms they can easily understand and that our profession allows us to pursue the three fundamental attorney “callings”– to be peacemakers, warriors, and guides. He manages a staff of five, and when not at his office, he is active in local non-profits, and enjoys time with his animals, which include honeybees. He lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Hope, and they are the parents of four children.
