Elizabeth Forgotson Goldberg

Elizabeth Forgotson Goldberg is a National Elder Law Foundation Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) practicing in Washington, DC and Maryland. She prepares wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for many area citizens and aids families in probate of their estates. In her estate administration work in Maryland, she recovered over $90,000 in 2001 from the Client Security Trust Fund on behalf of a defrauded senior's estate. Elizabeth serves as trustee and fiduciary for individuals in Maryland and the District at their own request and that of their parents. As an active member of the Fiduciary Panel of the Probate Division of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia, she represents families seeking guardianship and defends the rights of wards across the city. Her success in defending a client in a Medicaid recovery suit earned mention in the Washington Post (February 2006 - "Getting Stuck with the Tab").
