Jennifer Wright Schick

After graduating from law school, Ms. Schick was the law clerk to the Honorable Paul W. Grimm, United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Upon completion of her clerkship, Ms. Schick joined DLA Piper as an associate attorney. At DLA Piper, she represented public and private companies in connection with product liability, commercial, business, and negligence litigation. Ms. Schick has tried numerous cases in state and federal courts and has authored appellate briefs for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Ms. Schick has presented oral arguments before the Fourth Circuit. Ms. Schick also has extensive experience in mediation and settlement. Ms. Schick left DLA Piper to accept a position as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Maryland where her experience included defending the United States in civil actions involving torts, contracts, employment, immigration, civil rights, as well as other areas of the law. In addition, Ms. Schick prosecuted narcotics, money laundering, fraud, and child exploitation, sexual assault cases. Ms. Schick is a member of the State bars of Maryland and the District of Columbia as well as a member of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, United States District Court for the District of Columbia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
