Jesse F. Hicks

Jesse F. Hicks joins the Shipley Hicks Law Firm after serving several years as a Dorchester County Assistant State's Attorney. Jesse is a tenacious and passionate trial attorney and his experience as a prosecutor is uniquely valuable when defending his clients. Born in Ridgefield, Connecticut, Jesse moved to the Eastern Shore after law school. Upon graduating law school, Jesse served as law clerk to the Honorable Paul M. Bowman, Circuit Court Judge for Kent County. Jesse is barred in both Maryland and Connecticut. While working as an Assistant State's Attorney, Jesse specialized in cases involving felony drugs, handguns, the Department of Natural Resources, DUI offenses, and serious car accidents. Jesse was also specially appointed to the Attorney General's Task Force on Environmental Enforcement and the Attorney General's Task Force on Organized Crime.
