Kimberly L. Boyd

Kimberly Boyd is an Associate Attorney at Hamelburg Law. She believes in taking a client-centered approach to the practice of law to ensure that her clients’ questions and concerns are heard and fully addressed. She strives to provide quality service and is committed to providing thoughtful advocacy to meet the specific needs of the individuals and businesses she represents. Kim practices in the areas of business law, residential and commercial real estate, and litigation. She advises clients as they navigate the diversity of issues that arise from starting, buying, and managing a business. She also assists clients with various aspects of real estate transactions, including the preparation of deeds, contract review, and the resolution of landlord-tenant issues. In addition to her transactional work, Ms. Boyd also provides litigation support with business and real estate disputes. Kim began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Maria L. Oesterreicher of the Circuit Court for Carroll County, Maryland. Following her clerkship, she spent time honing her litigation skills at a Prince George’s County, Maryland law firm, and her business law skills as in-house corporate counsel at a Baltimore-based architectural/engineering firm. A cum laude graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, Kim served as Staff Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review and is a member of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society. While in law school, Ms. Boyd was the President of the International Law Society, a Rule 19 Student Attorney for the Immigrant Rights Clinic, and a member of the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Team.
