Lauren Kollecas

Lauren is a native of Maryland, born and raised in Montgomery County. Now, she dedicates her career to advocating for individuals who have suffered personal injuries, passionately fighting for their rights and ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve. Her extensive experience, including acting as lead attorney in over 20 jury trials, gives her a distinct advantage in navigating even the most complex personal injury cases. Ms. Kollecas is licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland, representing clients in a wide range of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and workplace injuries. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the Catholic University of America, building on her academic foundation with an undergraduate degree in Russian History from the University of Maryland. Lauren primarily handles personal injury at Azari Law, LLC, for clients in Virginia. Recently, she co-chaired a first-degree murder trial in Maryland, securing a verdict of not guilty after a grueling three-week trial. Following that, Ms. Kollecas tried two back-to-back trials in Maryland, securing a not-guilty verdict in a case of domestic assault and a not-guilty verdict in an attempted first-degree murder charge. Lauren is at home in the courtroom, presenting strong cases on behalf of her clients and preserving their civil rights and freedoms. She is a strong advocate for her clients and has a flair for zealous representation.
