The first in her family to obtain a graduate degree, Shelly earned her legal degree at night while working full-time as a Law Clerk for the Sex Offense Division of the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office. After graduating from law school, Shelly had the honor to serve as Judicial Clerk to Judge Steven I. Platt of the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, Maryland. Shelly M. Ingram is a Member of Maryland State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, the Bar Association of Howard County, the American Bar Association, the International Association of Collaborative Professionals, the Howard County Collaborative Professionals, and the Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence.
