George F. Gormley was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mr. Gormley was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1968., and is also a member of the United States Supreme Court bar, and the bars of the United States District Court of Massachusetts, the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court. He was educated at Boston College (B.A., 1962) and Boston University Law School (LL.B., 1968; L.L.M., Taxation, 1971). Mr. Gormley is a member of the Plymouth Court Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
