Gerald J. Turner is a partner of the Needham Heights Law firm Orsi, Arone, Rothenberg, Iannuzzi & Turner, LLP. The firm provides a full range of legal services. Mr. Turner practices exclusively in the area of Elder Law, Estate Planning, VA Pension Planning and Medicaid Planning with a special interest in Closely Held Business Entities. Mr. Turner is an attorney at law and a certified public accountant and is accredited to represent clients with the Veterans Administration. Mr. Turner lectures nationally to attorneys, financial professionals and accountants on various estate planning topics. He has lectured at Boston College, Nichols College and Bentley College Alzheimer’s Association and has also appeared on WRKO and various other radio stations. Mr. Turner’s knowledge and experience as both an attorney and certified public accountant, along with his accreditation with the Veteran’s Administration, gives him the unique ability to develop estate plans that effectively carry out his client’s estate planning objectives whether they are to save taxes, avoid probate, qualify for benefits such as VA pension or Medicaid or provide asset protection. Before establishing his own practice, Mr. Turner was also a tax professional at KPMG (one of the nation’s largest accounting firms) focusing on taxation of mutual funds, investment partnerships and high net worth individuals. Mr. Turner is a member of: the Elder Counsel; Wealth Counsel; the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; National Academy of VA Pension Planners and The American Association of Attorney Certified Public Accountants.
