Marianne Emanuel Pantelakis

I have been in private practice service principally serving Essex County, Middlesex County and Suffolk County since 1985, concentrating in family law, custody, paternity, support and visitation. I am an experienced trial attorney admitted to practice in Massachusetts State Courts, Florida State Courts, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Supreme Court. Prior to being in private practice, I taught for five years in the Lynn School System. I taught permanently and temporarily handicapped children at their homes. I also obtained a real estate broker’s license in Massachusetts and briefly worked in the field. I participate in the Lawyer of the Day at the Essex County Probate and Family Court in Salem. I am the Secretary and was on the Board of the Salem Bar Association, as well as coordinator of the conciliator program for the Salem District Court for the Salem Bar Association. I am member of the Essex County Bar Association. Although my practice now is highly focused in the area of Family Law, I began my career as a litigator, focusing in family law, personal injury, premises liability, automobile accidents, medical and dental malpractice, workers’ compensation and landlord tenant matters. I am also a certified mediator, collaborative law attorney and a court conciliator. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in History and Social Studies and Master of Arts in History in African Studies from Boston University, and my Juris Doctor from New England Law Boston. I also am fluent in Greek.
