Wendy W. Weston is an Estate Planning and Elder Law attorney, as well as a mom of two teenagers. Her passion lies in helping families navigate life’s transitions with confidence and peace of mind. She empowers South Coast, Cape, and Island families to plan for their own care and to leave a legacy to their loved ones by leveraging her empathy, creativity, and resilience. Wendy wants her clients to feel good about their plans and what those plans can do for them as they age. Her focused practice area allows her to tune in to specific concerns and scenarios that families are likely to experience and build agile plans that can adjust as life unfolds. Wendy believes resilience can be built into planning with flexibility and anticipation. She works alongside clients as they learn more about the needs of their families, their own health, and the limits and untapped potential of their wealth as they age. She remains dedicated to staying current on new developments in the law and fresh strategies as they emerge. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges and costly mistakes that can arise during estate administration, Wendy brings a unique perspective to her practice. She uses this insight to craft personalized estate plans that not only protect assets but also reflect clients’ values and wishes. Wendy’s background as a MassHealth Medicaid Administrator, including successfully helping clients save their family homes, has instilled in her a deep understanding of the complexities of long-term care planning. This experience led her to pursue her Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she honed her legal expertise to complement her genuine compassion and commitment to the community. As a member of a local aging support network, Wendy collaborates with a trusted network of financial planners, tax accountants, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support. Wendy understands that estate planning is not one-size-fits-all. Whether the client is an older individual, an adult child, or another family member, she listens carefully to their unique needs and goals to create a plan that works for them.
