Elena Kaatz

Elena is a dedicated attorney with a background in political science and law, holding her J.D. from Wayne State University (2021). With three years of experience in medical malpractice and no-fault insurance defense litigation, she also brings strong appellate skills and insight from serving as a Staff Attorney at Oakland County Circuit Court. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, soccer, and time with her two dogs. Elena's impressive journey began at the University of Michigan, where she earned her undergraduate degree in political science and international studies. She furthered her education at Wayne State University, graduating with her law degree in 2021. Since then, she has honed her skills in medical malpractice and no-fault insurance defense litigation for three years. Her experience also includes significant involvement in appellate work, showcasing her ability to navigate complex legal challenges. Most recently, Elena served as a Staff Attorney at the Oakland County Circuit Court under the Honorable Phyllis McMillen, where she gained invaluable insights into the judicial process. When not lawyering, Elena enjoys traveling, playing soccer, and spending time with her two dogs!
