Since 2003 I have dedicated my law career to providing aggressive and honest legal representation in and around Washtenaw County. My law practice is devoted to representing individuals in matters involving: family law, with an emphasis on divorce, custody and support; probate & juvenile court matters; and general civil litigation, including guardianship disputes, breach of contract claims, intentional torts such as assault and battery, landlord-tenant, and mental health law. The philosophy of my office is to provide aggressive legal representation with unwavering honesty and integrity. Although most of my cases reach a settlement prior to trial, rest assured I will be prepared for trial should it be necessary. As required and when necessary, my office conducts extensive discovery prior to trial. Prior to becoming an attorney I worked as an educator and administrator in the public schools for ten years and so I am able to draw from a variety of life experiences in order to better advise and assist my clients with their legal issues. I listen closely to my clients and together we map out the most appropriate course of action. In addition to Washtenaw County, I also have worked in Wayne, Jackson, Livingston and Oakland Counties.
