Jennifer A. Smith

Jennifer A. Smith is originally from Comstock, Michigan but she traveled extensively as a child with her family and ultimately settled in New Orleans. Ms. Smith went to law school in Washington, D.C. and remained in that area for nearly 30 years, working as an attorney in the area of criminal law; as an appeals examiner for the Government of the District of Columbia; and then holding legal and quasi-legal positions with a university, a hospital and a community management company. Ms. Smith returned to New Orleans in 2012 to be with family, and then moved back to Michigan in 2013 for the same reason. Jennifer became licensed to practice law in Michigan and joined Q Elderlaw in June of 2017, where her compassion for clients and knowledge of estate planning and long-term care planning law makes her a valuable member of the Q Elderlaw team.
