I have been practicing law for over 30 years, graduating from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1980. My primary area of practice is Real Estate Law assisting individuals, corporations, limited liability companies and real estate management companies with buying and selling single family homes to office buildings, apartment complexes and mobile home/manufactured housing parks/communities, from drafting real estate purchase agreements to closings, assisting with mortgages, land contracts, mortgage foreclosures, land contract forfeitures, boundary and water/lakefront property disputes, landlord property management, residential and commercial landlord-tenant issues, evictions, drafting and enforcement of rental/lease agreements, homeowner and condominium association issues, construction and contractor collection and disputes. I also assist with creditor resolution and settlement, collections, business selling and purchasing, and business and contract disputes.
