Sarah Nasser

Sarah Nasser is an associate attorney at Brown Borkowski & Morrow. Ms. Nasser was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 2023 and was a 2023 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she earned magna cum laude honors and graduated in the top 10% of her class. While in law school, Ms. Nasser was a junior member of the Law Review and a competitor in Moot Court. She received book awards in Contracts I, Professional Responsibility, and Access to Justice, and consistently earned Dean’s List recognition as a Dean Scholar. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan–Dearborn, where she served as Student Government President. Ms. Nasser was an active leader within the law school community, serving as Vice President of both the American Constitution Society and the Immigration Law Association. She also founded the Disability Law Association and served as its President. She worked as a teaching assistant for Torts and the Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Clinic, where she provided guidance to unrepresented litigants in federal court. Ms. Nasser gained practical legal experience through judicial externships with the Honorable Judge Linda V. Parker of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Honorable Judge Berry of the Third Judicial Circuit Court of Michigan. Her article, “To Be Loved or To Be Healthy: A Disabled Individual’s Conundrum of Choosing Between Marrying Someone They Love or Continuing to Receive the Health Resources They Need,” was published in the UCLA Disability Law Journal. Before joining Brown Borkowski & Morrow, Ms. Nasser worked as an associate attorney at McKeen & Associates, where she practiced medical malpractice law, and at Hewson & Van Hellemont, where she practiced Personal injury litigation.
