Shon Anne Cook

Shon Cook is passionate about the law and helping clients reach the best possible outcomes. With over 30 years of experience, she has represented individuals in nearly every area of the law. Today, she focuses exclusively on family law, handling complex and high-asset divorce, custody and parenting time disputes, spousal support, guardianships, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, collaborative law, and mediation. Her philosophy is simple: use the power of the law to make a positive difference in people’s lives. In addition to her legal practice, Shon is a respected speaker for the State Bar of Michigan and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. She helps train attorneys and Judges across the state on critical issues affecting families and the division of assets. Outside of work, Shon has coached countless youth soccer, softball, and basketball teams in the Whitehall area. She’s raised three children, owned three law firms, and run three marathons (so far)—her personal “trifecta” of accomplishments.
