Steven Maisel

Steven is an associate attorney at the Law firm of Hauer and Snover. He concentrates his practice in the area of family law representing both men and women across the state. Steven graduated Cum Laude from the Michigan State University College of Law. While in law school, Steven received an Honors Scholarship and the Jurisprudence Award for his academic achievements. Steven was an Articles Editor for the Michigan State University College of Law International Law Review. He also worked as a research fellow under Professor Sean Pager. Prior to joining the team at the Law Firm of Hauer and Snover, Steven worked as a Guardian Ad Litem in Oakland and Macomb Counties, working through difficult situations with a wide variety of families. He volunteered with Judge Wendy Potts in the Oakland County Circuit Court. He also worked in Subrogation for MCO's like Medicare and Medicaid. Steven is familiar with the complicated circumstances that can arise during divorce and works diligently to ensure that his clients can easily navigate these challenging scenarios.
