Andrew P. Sherwood

ANDREW P. SHERWOOD is a senior trial attorney at Keller, Woods & Thompson, P.A. Andy grew up in St. Paul where he graduated from St. Paul Central High School before attending Purdue University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduating from William Mitchell College of Law, Andy worked as an associate attorney at Palmer, Cody & O'Dea representing claimants in no-fault arbitration litigation. From 2003 to 2021, Andy was a Staff Attorney for the Progressive Minneapolis House Counsel Office. As a house counsel attorney, Andy handled and tried personal injury cases involving complex medical issues, including traumatic brain injury, spine surgery, and injection therapy management of chronic pain. With over 18 years of insurance house counsel experience, including 2 years managing the Minneapolis Progressive House Counsel Office, and over 14 years of jury trial experience, Andy is skilled in providing insightful and effective personal injury litigation and settlement strategies and producing successful jury trial results. Andy also understands the importance of empathy and civility during the understandably stressful civil litigation process. When he's not in the office or courtroom, Andy enjoys vacationing with his wife Michelle and their two children, watching his son's St. Paul Blackhawk soccer matches, his daughter's STAR swim meets, and following Golden Gopher basketball and football.
