James Eric Gabrielson

James “Jim” Gabrielson is the Managing Partner at Gabrielson Law Offices, LTD, where he represents clients throughout Minnesota in personal injury and wrongful death cases. A lifelong member of the firm, Jim has been involved with Gabrielson Law Offices since the age of sixteen, gaining extensive experience in every aspect of civil litigation. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of St. Thomas, Jim returned to the firm full-time as Office Manager, overseeing daily operations and assisting in trial preparation. Inspired by his father, founding attorney Stephen Gabrielson, Jim pursued his Juris Doctor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. He joined the firm as an attorney shortly thereafter and became a Partner in January 2021. Jim focuses his practice on helping individuals and families recover from serious injuries and losses caused by negligence. His work spans a range of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, defective products, and catastrophic injuries. He is known for his thorough preparation, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving meaningful results for his clients. Jim is admitted to practice in all Minnesota State Courts, the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Association for Justice, and the Stearns-Benton Bar Association. Beyond his legal career, Jim is deeply rooted in his community. He enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and being outdoors—especially hunting, gardening, and landscaping. He actively supports local charitable and environmental organizations and is an avid Minnesota sports fan. Through dedication, experience, and personal integrity, Jim Gabrielson continues the Gabrielson family tradition of providing trusted, compassionate, and results-driven legal representation to injured clients across Minnesota.
