John D. Lamey III Esq.

John D. Lamey III graduated, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in 2001. Prior to founding Lamey Law Firm, Mr. Lamey clerked for the Honorable Paulette Kane Flynn in Ramsey County, practiced tax law at Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, and was in-house counsel for Marquette Financial Companies. Mr. Lamey concentrates his practice on personal and business bankruptcy, secured lending, and general business and corporate law. Mr. Lamey’s passion is helping debtors through the complex bankruptcy code to ensure them a fresh start. Mr. Lamey also represents clients in contested bankruptcies and other litigation in bankruptcy court. Mr. Lamey is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the MSBA Bankruptcy Section (fomer chairman), and was the former Editor-in-Chief of the Bankruptcy Section's Case Update Publication.
