Marcus Zelzer

Marcus Zelzer joined SJJ in 2019. Marcus practices in the areas of litigation, contract drafting, insurance and construction law. During his time in law school at The University of St. Thomas, Marcus was mentored by some of the industries top civil litigators which has given him a large advantage stepping into the courtroom. Through his clerkship with Smith Jadin Johnson, Marcus was able to work on numerous high stakes cases where he was able to see first hand how these experienced litigators handled each stage of litigation and was able to learn a wide variety of trial strategies and techniques as well as how to successfully advocate for your client. Marcus was also a member of the Trial Advocacy team where he gained the determination to push for a win, every time. “I understand the needs of my clients and take the time to understand their legal issues and work to find a solution to their needs.” Marcus is known as a dedicated champion for his clients in any scenario. People can count on him to be clear and direct when approaching a lawsuit. He understands the intricacies of the ever challenging litigation world and does everything in his power to support his clients throughout the process. Outside of work Marcus is an avid sports fan and enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with his family.
