Michelle Kniess

Meet the Founder of Mosaic Family Law & Mediation With nearly 20 years of experience, Michelle leads clients through all kinds of family conflict. From divorce to custody and parenting time disputes, Michelle listens to her clients and advises them along the path to resolution. Michelle understands the interplay between litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and can skillfully advise clients in navigating those systems. She has represented numerous clients in Minnesota and Wisconsin courts, through motion hearings and trials. She is a Minnesota Qualified Neutral Mediator and is trained in Parenting Consulting, FENE/SENE and Moderated Settlement Conference. Michelle is a current and prior business owner, has been a member of both large and small law firms, and was a student judicial intern for a state Supreme Court Justice. Michelle earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, and her business management degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She recently earned her Masters Degree in Theological Studies from Bethel University. Her education, skills and experience make her a fierce, yet compassionate advocate.
