Mikkel A. Long

Mikkel A. Long has provided high quality criminal defense services in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin since 2002. His practice is exclusively devoted to criminal defense litigation. He has successfully defended people against allegations at all levels of the criminal justice system, including in the most serious felony matters. Mr. Long began his legal career as a prosecuting attorney. He transitioned to the field of criminal defense when he joined the Indian Legal Assistance Program, and later the Sixth Judicial District Public Defender's Office. He has maintained a private criminal defense practice for over 12 years. Mr. Long prides himself on bringing professional and compassionate representation in all of his cases. He has extensive jury trial experience. He is attentive to the needs of his clients and treats them with dignity and respect.
