Stephanie S. Lamphere

Stephanie is an attorney focusing in criminal law at Groshek Law P.A. Prior to joining Groshek Law P.A. in 2016, Stephanie worked at the Minnesota House of Representatives as the lead staff member to the Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee. Her legislative experience gives her a unique perspective to bring to her practice, as she is able to provide her clients with relevant knowledge of newly enacted laws that impact each legal case. While attending Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California, Stephanie worked as a certified law clerk in the Compton Branch of the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. In Compton, Stephanie was exposed to a variety of criminal cases and gained valuable experience in state district court. Stephanie also worked as a law clerk at Beach Cowdrey Owen, LLP, a premier insurance defense law firm in southern California, assisting in the civil litigation defense of healthcare facilities. In 2012, Stephanie completed an internship in federal district court with the Honorable Samuel Der-Yeghiayan in the Northern District of Illinois. In 2013, Stephanie was selected to serve as co-captain of Pepperdine Law School's nationally-ranked moot court competition team. She led the team as an appellate advocate, competing in Washington, D.C., Chicago, Gulfport, San Diego, and Hong Kong, where she secured domestic and international championship titles. Stephanie also served as Note and Comment Editor of the National Association of Administrative Law Judiciary Law Journal. Stephanie graduated from Pepperdine Law in 2014 and was inducted into the National Order of Barristers, an honors society of the top oral advocates of her graduating class.
