Jerry L. Mills

After clerking for the Mississippi Supreme Court following his graduation from law school, Mr. Mills started work with Judge "Red" Pyle where he began developing his specialty in the area of municipal annexation. Now, having litigated dozens of annexation cases from all corners of the state at both the trial and appellate levels, Mr. Mills has literally helped shape our state's law in this area. Mr. Mills enjoys an AV Preeminent Peer Rating of 5/5.0 on Martindale Hubbell lawyer rating system, and he has been named one of the nation's best lawyers in the areas of zoning and land use. He also currently serves as general counsel for the City of Ridgeland and the City of Byram. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing for trout and spending time with his three grandchildren.
