Burke has also foreclosed on millions of dollars’ worth of mechanics liens on commercial and pipeline properties. Since 2009, he has served as local counsel for Missouri and Kansas through National Lien and Bond, prosecuting liens for commercial contractors throughout both states. Transactional Counsel Burke drafts and negotiates contracts for general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. His litigation background gives clients a strategic advantage; he uses lessons learned in the courtroom to craft contract terms designed to prevent disputes or withstand them when necessary. Project Management For developer clients, Burke provides comprehensive project oversight from inception to closeout. His work includes drafting, administering and enforcing construction and design contracts; monitoring construction progress to manage risk; preparing and processing pay applications; and handling lien waivers.
