I have a personal commitment to my clients to operate under the golden rule and treat you as I would like to be treated. A lawsuit is a temporary relationship where I have certain professional responsibilities and you have certain personal responsibilities. We will communicate and work together to make critical professional and personal decisions at each step of the trial preparation process. In addition to the legal training and legal preparation we must use in handling your case, I have a genuine affection for people. I enjoy meeting new people and assisting them through the stages of litigation. I believe in both being an attorney and counselor. Being a counselor sometimes helps the client through some of the personal and emotional portions of the loss of a dear family member, coming to terms with a permanent and severe injury, and coping with the numerous surgeries and physical therapy to regain less than total use of a portion of the body. Following an untimely death of a family member, trust and estate litigation involves obtaining cooperation from various competing family or financial interests. The emotional loss of a loved one together with an unexpected financial loss requires professional competence to gain the appropriate legal inheritance and recovery.
