Ryan J. Gavin

Ryan Gavin is a Missouri native and has lived most of his life in St. Louis. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Missouri - St. Louis and earned his law degree from Saint Louis University in 1999. He represents victims of medical negligence and nursing home abuse in Missouri and Southern Illinois. Ryan joined Morgan & Morgan in 2021 after twenty-two years of practice defending insurance companies, corporations, and health care providers in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. During this time, he had an active trial practice where regularly secured verdicts identified among the largest defense verdicts in the state and was recognized in 2021 by Missouri Lawyers Media as one of the most powerful health care attorneys in the state. Ryan's accomplishments have resulted in recognition by his peers including an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell (the highest rating available for professional excellence and ethics) and annual inclusion in Missouri Super Lawyers published by Thomson Reuters. Ryan now devotes his practice to the representation of those injured or killed as a result of negligent medical or nursing care. As a former defense lawyer, he has tremendous insight into how defendants and insurers evaluate and defend the claims brought against health care providers. Ryan combines this knowledge with his skill as a trial lawyer to secure just compensation for his clients. It is his mission with each of his clients to get to the truth of what happened, why it happened, and how it could have been prevented.
