Jerry S. Busby

Jerry S. Busby, a partner in the firm, is based in the Las Vegas office. Jerry has more than twenty-eight years of trial experience and concentrates his practice on liability matters, including premises liability, product liability, auto and truck liability, insurance coverage litigation, Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist, and malpractice or professional liability. Jerry began his legal career defending civil personal injury cases and has continued to do the same type of work since 1984. He tried his first civil case in 1985 for a grocery store and has since tried close to 100 other civil cases - the majority of which were premises liability cases. Jerry has been retained as an expert witness in the field of premises liability on a few occasions - and speaks Spanish which is helpful in communicating with witnesses in the cases he litigates. Jerry graduated with Honors from Brigham Young University, with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance (1981). He graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University in 1984. He has taught various continuing education seminars in the field of defending personal injury litigation. Jerry is a member of the Nevada State Bar and is currently licensed to practice in all Courts, State and Federal, in the State of Nevada. He is also a member of the Arizona State Bar, but does not actively practice in Arizona at this time. Jerry is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Defense Research Institute, and the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
