Cher Sauer, is a Commercial and Intellectual Property Attorney with a certification in Privacy (CIPP/US), and significant practice background in trademark, internet, and copyright law. Ms. Sauer received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School and is admitted to practice in New York (NY) and New Jersey (NJ). She practices in the area of commercial law including Trademark/Copyright, Privacy, IP Enforcement, Internet, Advertising, and Commercial Contracts. Prior to working in the Offices of David A. Weinstein, Ms. Sauer practiced IP and Commercial Law in a boutique law firm, and then joined Pulse IP (NKA LZ Legal Services), one of the top filers of trademark applications at the USPTO. She also worked for a time at a Prestige League AM Law 100 law firm. Before attending law school, Ms. Sauer was in Senior Management positions in both IT (medical device) and the sports & entertainment industries where she drafted, negotiated, and managed hundreds of licensing, marketing, sales, and commercial agreements. She received a scholarship to attend law school where she studied Trademark, Copyright, and Internet law which has remained her interest and the prime focus of her practice.
