Jennifer L. Holowach Esq.

Jennifer L. Holowach, Esq., joined Del Sardo & Montanari, LLC as a part-time associate in May 2015. Ms. Holowach is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and is pending admission in the State of New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Ms. Holowach graduated from the State University of New York Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Health Information Management and later received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2012. Ms. Holowach also continues her work as the Director of Health Information and Quality Assurance for one of Westchester's fastest growing healthcare management services organizations. Ms. Holowach has spent years working within organizations to: o Provide guidance and recommendations on Privacy law issues; o Develop and maintain Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance with State and Federal law protecting the Privacy of health information; o Work closely with technology professionals implementing systems to track, investigate, assess, report, and prevent Privacy and Security breaches in accordance with guidelines of HIPAA and HITECH; o Lead continuous Quality Assurance initiatives identifying trends of policy violations with potential for Privacy breaches; o Develop corrective action plans targeting organizational awareness of Privacy Law and decreasing the incidence of breaches; o Create and Lead enterprise-wide Privacy education programs; and o Author Medical Record Custodial Agreements in accordance with HIPAA Law.
