Melissa Gullo

Melissa is a passionate advocate for her clients and believes in thorough preparation of every case to achieve the best possible results. Melissa appreciates the divorce process on a personal level, and is committed to providing guidance for her clients every step of the way. Melissa joins Weinberg Kaplan & Smith with extensive litigation experience. Previously, Melissa focused her practice on complex insurance defense and litigation. Within the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) at a large regional firm, Melissa polished her expertise in fraud investigation and major case development. Through this practice, Melissa gained an efficient and detail-oriented approach to claim review and analysis for cases both big and small. Melissa also handled all aspects of case management, from inception through resolution or trial. Now, Melissa focuses her practice entirely in the area of family law. Melissa has intimate experience with representing clients through the entirety of the divorce process, including MESP Panel Hearings, oral argument in Court, attending settlement conferences, negotiating a fair resolution, and both divorce and custody trials. Utilizing her background in fraud investigation, Melissa also provides a specific skill set with respect to issues surrounding post-judgment non-compliance and cohabitation.
