Michael J. Watson

Michael J. Watson is an Associate with the firm and concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, health care, and labor and employment matters. Mr. Watson also represents public sector clients in negotiations and disciplinary matters before the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission and the Civil Service Commission. Mr. Watson currently serves as the solicitor of several public entities and is a member of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys. Mr. Watson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in 2002. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law in 2008. He is currently enrolled in the Public Health and Policy Masters Degree Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with an expected graduation date of December 2012. Mr. Watson is the author of "Carnage on Our Nation's Highways: A Proposal for Applying the Statutory Scheme of Megan's Law to Drunk-Driving Legislation", 39 Rutgers L.J. 453 (2008). Mr. Watson was member of the Rutgers Law Journal and served on the Executive Board of the Law Journal as Internet Editor. Mr. Watson previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Francis J. Orlando, Assignment Judge, New Jersey Superior Court, Law Division, Camden County, New Jersey. Mr. Watson was admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in 2008. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the American, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Camden County Bar Associations. Mr. Watson was born in Voorhees, New Jersey in 1980.
