About Peter L. Nichols

I am a litigation attorney with experience in the courts of New Jersey and New York. At present, my practice is primarily in estates litigation but I also handle commercial litigation matters and occasional criminal and traffic violation defense. In 1984, I left the law and returned to school, receiving a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Toronto. I taught as an adjunct professor at universities in New Jersey (Montclair State, William Paterson, Fairleigh Dickinson, Keane, New Jersey City University, Rutgers) and in New York (The New School, NYU, Dowling College) for eleven years. My subjects were philosophy, American politics, and expositional writing. In addition to legal practice, I am a regular commentator on political issues in the on-line journal, the American Thinker.
