Adam B. Kaufman Esq.

Mr. Kaufman represents clients in contract negotiations, company formations, the purchase and sale of businesses and professional practices, commercial and residential real estate matters, loan and equity transactions, employment matters, international transactions, licensing and distribution, trademarks, commercial litigation, and wills, trusts and estate administration. His business clients range in size from small startups to large, established enterprises, and they are located throughout the United States as well as abroad. Mr. Kaufman began his legal career in the Project Finance Department of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, where he represented the Export-Import Bank of the United States, along with various power plant and infrastructure developers in international transactions. He later became an Associate of Morrison Cohen Singer & Weinstein, LLP in the Corporate Department, where he represented clients including Goldman, Sachs & Co. in public offerings, the J.H. Whitney venture capital group in private equity transactions, and Genovese Drug Stores in retail store acquisitions. Mr. Kaufman is admitted to practice law in New York (1995). He holds a B.A. from SUNY Albany (1989) and a Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law (1994).
