Allison L. Rockmore

Ms. Rockmore received her Juris Doctor from St. John's Law School in 1996. She concentrates primarily in divorce and family law, having extensive experience in vigorously contested matters of family offense petitions and orders of protection, child custody and parenting access, support matters and all aspects associated with divorce. Ms. Rockmore joined Green Kaminer Min & Rockmore LLP in March 2021 with over twenty years of legal experience focusing on family and matrimonial matters in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens and Kings counties. Ms. Rockmore was formerly a partner in the law firm of Edwards & Rockmore, P.C. in Garden City, New York, during which time she managed a significant caseload while attaining favorable results for her clients. Throughout her career, Ms. Rockmore has settled hundreds of cases and successfully tried others entailing complex equitable distribution issues, child custody and support issues. Ms. Rockmore appears before the Judges of the Family Courts, Supreme Courts and also the Judges of the Appellate Division. Having gone through a highly contested divorce herself, Ms. Rockmore is keenly aware of the sensitive and emotional issues present in a divorce, which allow her to handle each matter both sensitively and aggressively to maintain the client's rights. Ms. Rockmore's vast experience with all different types of family and matrimonial matters has yielded her a unique ability to analyze the facts of each case, identify strengths and weaknesses and determine the best strategy for the client. Ms. Rockmore has many satisfied clients, whether it be the result of her creative settlement terms or as a result of litigation. Ms. Rockmore prides herself on staying at the forefront of all current developments in matrimonial and family law in order to effectively represent the firm's diverse clientele. Her emphasis on precision and detail facilitates thorough global resolutions of even the most complex divorce matters.
