About Benjamin Flavin
After graduating college, I worked with tenant associations and limited equity cooperatives at the Urban Homesteading Assistance Board, where I provided training and technical assistance to Housing Development Fund Companies throughout the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan. My work at UHAB inspired me to attend law school to continue my work with government financed and regulated housing associations. My practice now includes the representation of many HDFCs. While representation of HDFCs drew me into the practice of law, I also act as general counsel to all forms of cooperatives and condominiums, where I provide boards with advice on a myriad of complicated governance and transactional issues they face on a daily basis. My goal is to provide my clients with practical and cost-effective advice assisting them to smoothly operate their buildings and minimize conflicts among owners. I joined Finder Novick Kerrigan LLP in 2013 and became a partner in 2020. I joined Braverman Greenspun in 2023 together with my partners at FNK.
