Beth E. Shalev

Ms. Shalev represents clients in commercial and residential real estate matters, with a particular focus on retail and office leasing. She is also a lease abstractor, proficient in the use of Ellipsis software to provide real estate purchasers and developers with specialized lease management reports. Ms. Shalev began her legal career in the Real Estate Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where she represented Lehman Brothers in the purchase of 745 Seventh Avenue as well as various real estate developers in the acquisition and management of commercial buildings in New York City. She also represented numerous lenders such as The Finova Group and Citicorp in the financing of loans involving national multi-property real estate assets. Ms. Shalev holds a B.A. in English from Barnard College (1996), where she earned both the Bronze King's Crown and Student Government Leadership awards, and graduated cum laude. She graduated from Brooklyn School of Law (2000), where she served on the Brooklyn Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
