Clifford J. Petroske Esq.

Born and raised on Long Island, Clifford J. Petroske graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1986, and thereafter attended Hofstra University School of Law. At Hofstra he was the editor of the Hofstra Environmental Law Digest. Upon graduation from Hofstra, Mr. Petroske was admitted to the New York Bar in January 1990, and to the New Jersey Bar in December 1989. He became associated with the firm of Reisch, Simoni, Bythewood & Gleason in Garden City, New York, until leaving in 1992 to start his own practice. Mr. Petroske's office is currently located in Hauppauge, New York, nearby to the Cohalan Court Complex which houses the state District Court, Family Court and Supreme Court in Suffolk County. For more than twenty-two years, Mr. Petroske has practiced primarily family and matrimonial law. Fast-changing legislation and case law developments have made practicing in this field particularly challenging, especially in light of the uniquely personal circumstances each case presents. With a background in bankruptcy law, criminal law, real estate and corporate law, Mr. Petroske brings a wealth of experience to the multi-faceted issues in divorce litigation, while remaining committed to each client as an individual. Mr. Petroske is a member of the Suffolk County and New York State Bar Associations, with membership in the Family Law committee of the New York State Bar Association and Matrimonial and Family Law Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association. He has handledhundreds of cases in Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Kings, New York, Bronx, and Westchester counties in New York State, and conducted numerous trials and hearings concerning matrimonial and family law matters.
