David A. Tane

DAVID A. TANE, admitted to practice law in the State of New York, founded Tane Waterman & Wurtzel, P.C. (then Deutsch Tane Waterman & Wurtzel, P.C.) in 1992, alongside partners Jeremy Deutsch, Stewart Wurtzel and Marcie Waterman. David was born in Manhasset, New York, attended Brandeis University as an undergraduate, and obtained his Juris Doctorate (cum laude) from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. David has been practicing law for over forty years. Prior to founding Tane Waterman & Wurtzel, P.C., David was an associate, then partner, with the firm of Gallet Dreyer & Berkey, LLP. Mr. Tane specializes in real estate and corporate law with an emphasis on the representation of condominium associations and cooperative corporations, along with a wide variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions. Mr. Tane has lectured before trade groups and given courses for continuing legal education credits. David currently resides in Manhattan, after spending twenty-five years raising his family in Larchmont, NY. David is an accomplished pianist and booster of the American Songbook, and is a proud member of The Players, one of New York City’s oldest membership clubs devoted to the performing arts. When not advising his clients, he can be found enjoying the theatre (both on and off Broadway), and NYC's many cabaret spots.
