Eduardo A. Cukier

Mr. Cukier is a partner in the Tax group. He practices in the areas of domestic and international taxation. His clients include multinational public and private corporations, governmental entities, partnerships, private equity firms, hedge funds, subchapter S corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. He represents clients in such diverse industries as commodities, energy, technology, manufacturing, transportation, banking and financial services, among others. He counsels clients with respect to tax aspects of all types of transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and spinoffs, financings, capital markets and other securities transactions, formation of and investments by private equity funds and other partnerships, insolvency and bankruptcy restructurings, executive compensation, and international tax planning for high-net-worth individuals. He also represents a variety of clients in federal, state and local tax controversies. Mr. Cukier is a frequent speaker at tax conferences on U.S. and international taxation.
